Still Expanding |
CMC continues to expand on having the largest fleet of water-based construction equipment in the Florida Keys. Recently added is a 100' by 30' jack-up barge which has the ability to raise itself above the surface of the water on four large spuds. This is fantastic for times of bad weather or simply lots of boat traffic in the construction area.

On a personal note |
On a personal note, CMC recently participated in the first ever Marathon Offshore Bull & Cow Dolphin Tournament to benefit the Grace Jones Daycare Center in Marathon. We sponsored two boats and despite the rough seas and winds, managed to pull in the 4th biggest bull dolphin. All fish from the tourney were filleted and sold to the benefit of the charity.

George Steinmetz, our director of construction |
George Steinmetz, our director of construction and head of field operations, recently attended a 2 day intensive workshop on the finer points of decorative concrete technology. Increte is a stamped concrete system that will allow us to duplicate natural textures like brick and stone for a fraction of the cost of conventional materials. In addition, CMC can now offer textured concrete overlays to transform ordinary concrete into bold and exciting textured surfaces and deep penetrating concrete stains that are as low-maintenance as they are beautiful. Check out our products link for Increte to find out how this can work for you.
